Benchmark is a local, family-owned business based in downtown Newmarket, just 6 miles from Newfields. You work directly with the family that runs it, close by and easy to reach when you need us.
Newfields is our closest neighbor, a few minutes down the road, and it is a village town: an old center near the river with antique homes on small village lots, and newer houses spread out on the roads leading away from it. The village houses have the kitchens you expect from their age, closed off and modest, sometimes reworked once already in a way that did not solve much. The newer homes have a layout that works but finishes and storage that have aged out. Being this close means we can get back quickly when a question comes up, which matters more during a remodel than most people expect.
Bathrooms in the older village homes are usually carved out of space that was never planned for plumbing, so the honest fix starts with the layout rather than the tile. In the newer houses it is the familiar builder bath, ready for a tiled shower, a vanity with real storage, and venting that actually moves the moisture out of the room. Either way the waterproofing goes in properly, because that is the part you never see and can never skip.
